Due to the blacklist from the Trump administration, Huawei is no longer intended to use Google products. This is the reason why the company has been working on its own OS named HongMeng. The global name of this version will be Ark OS. According to a new report, Huawei is all set to ship their phones with this new OS in October.
HongMeng Worked a Lot Faster than Android in Tests
Huawei has been conducting intensive tests on its OS along with Oppo, Tencent, and Vivo. In the tests, it has been proven that HongMeng is a lot faster when compared to Android and the OS based phones will be released into the Chinese market first.
The rumors have stated that Huawei Mate 30 will be the first phone with HongMeng OS but apparently, this is not true anymore. The company is planning to introduce this OS into entry-level smartphones. The analysts in the industry have presumed that the ban of US on Huawei will affect the company’s sales a lot.
But the company is planning to ship 200 million units this year, which is more than what they shipped in the last year. According to the report in China daily, the company has already shipped 1 million devices with the new OS for testing purpose.
The company ensured that their software is compatible with all the Android applications. They designed it to support all the mobiles, tablets, computers and other electronic gadgets.
On the other hand, Google is trying to get an exemption for the company from the US ban. But the Chinese companies are encouraging the company to proceed with its own OS. The OS from Huawei has acquired a lot of popularity even before it entered the market.
If this is true, my next phone will be huawei.

I don’t think it is.. it’s just a 1st generation os. Android is here for a long time. They are just marketing with that impossible statement.
Actually it’s not even 1st gen yet. They have not sold any phone with that os.
So, it can’t be compared yet with android.
